Lagoon Amusement Park – Art Department, Sign Shop

2015 – 2019

In this role, I contributed to the production and maintenance of visual design elements across the park. Responsibilities included screen printing signage, hand-painting displays and props, and supporting general studio organization. I assisted with a wide range of projects, from routine shop upkeep to large-scale seasonal installations, including carving pumpkins and helping design and decorate haunted attractions.

Hetch Hetchy Project 2023

Selected for a field-based project in California’s Hetch Hetchy Valley, where I rephotographed the dam to compare its current state with historical images. Edited, mounted, and presented the photos alongside archival images at a conference on the valley’s restoration, developing skills in visual documentation, presentation, and critical analysis.

BioArt Project 2024

Collaborated with the biology department to document bacterial and microbial growth over time, using photography to enhance scientific observation. Assisted in designing camera rigs, conducting timelapse tests, and refining imaging techniques, contributing to a visual and technical framework for the project’s continuation.

2020 - current

Provided custom design and illustration services to a diverse client base through social media platforms. Successfully completed projects for over a dozen clients, receiving positive feedback and repeat engagements. Gained experience translating client concepts into polished visual work, navigating creative challenges, and managing projects independently, enhancing both artistic and professional skills.
